Country of Birth - User Note
An error has been discovered in the data covering a person's country of birth along with the mother's and father's country of birth. The error is that the original entries for responses of South Korea/Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Trinidad and Tobago, Vietnam, and Yugoslavia were lost prior to the start of the basic CPS processing. Due to the allocation of country of birth for these individuals, a small number of cases also contain inaccurate citizenship and year of entry information. For this reason, we strongly recommend that user's do not conduct any analysis using any of these variables. Replacement files will be sent to all original purchasers of this file in the near future.
