Data Search for Microdata variables
Users can find the variables from the five hundred variables offered by:
  1. Word Matches: Finding only variables that contain the word(s)(hint) in the variable name or description(limited to 50 characters, the questionnaire wording is available on the next screen)
  2. Variable groupings: Variables in a search can be limited to a particular grouping or combination of groupings of variables.
  3. Data types: Variables are classified by how they are affected during processing. (Typically, most users want "edited" variables. For more information on the data types, please search CPS Home Page Methodology Documentation.)
NOTE: You can use these three search techniques in combination.
